Her smile disarmed the critics and evaporated men’s hearts. It seemed to send men a message…
Somewhere there is a key to me. Find it, and the door to all sensual pleasure in this world will be unlocked for you alone, and I will be yours.
Jenna’s Dream is a completed, young adult romance novel, 137,000 words. The story, set in rural New England in the 1950’s, chronicles the early childhood, and teenage years of Jenna Jackson. Life is a struggle for Jenna from the day she’s born. Her father, Dick Jackson, is the son of an alcoholic farmer and as so often happens, he follows in his father’s footsteps. Jenna’s mother, Helen, has two claims to fame; the title of ex-homecoming queen, with a high school diploma. Twin boys complicate an already humble existence so the birth of Jenna, two years later, is not welcome. But the pain killers seem to help, and by the time Jenna is five, her mother is a full-fledged addict. By the time she is seven, Helen no longer caters to Dick’s needs, and Jenna’s abuse begins. It doesn’t seem like there is a whole lot of hope for this little girl. Randy Wade is the one bright spot in Jenna’s life. They meet on the first day of school in 1955, and though the words aren’t spoken, their love is born on that very day. And almost from the very first day, schoolmate Martin Sweet is jealous. When Martin’s ill-fated plan to win her heart goes awry and nearly kills Jenna, Randy is implicated, and it looks like she will lose her one true reason for being. She should think about ending it all. Wouldn’t you?
Jenna's Dream is my second published novel. My first book, 'Our Day Will Come' was published by Publish America. I decided it took too long to get a book published, so I set about to create my own publishing business, which I have done. I publish fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, and poetry for authors who either want their work available as gifts for family and friends, or who are just 'getting their feet wet' with that first novel or chapbook. Come visit me.
Thank you for your comments. I am getting to be quite busy so that is good. If you know of anyone to send my way, I'm at www.heygetajob.com Why are you on here if I may ask?

Thank you. I must say that of all the sites 'out there' this is the first one that I have visited where I felt really comfortable almost immediately. I don't get as much time to participate as I would like, but I will certainly try to add to the discussion whenever I can. Thanks Again!
